Who We Are
Multicultural Literacy Center, LLC is a Houston-based educational organization dedicated to closing the achievement gap for students in grades Kindergarten through 12th grade. We provide high-quality, culturally responsive tutoring during school hours and after school — meeting students where they are and guiding them to where they need to be.
Our experienced educators bring passion, patience, and proven strategies to every session. Whether your child needs foundational literacy support or advanced academic preparation, we are here to help them thrive.
Programs Offered
During School Hours
Targeted academic support in TEKS reading, math, science, and social studies, grades K-12, integrated into the school day, helping students stay on track with curriculum goals and build confidence in core subjects.
After School Program
Structured after-school tutorial sessions in reading and math that reinforce classroom learning, provide homework help, and close performance gaps for students to ensure long-term academic success.
Grades 1–6 Literacy
Foundational reading, writing, and comprehension skills for elementary students — building the literacy base every learner needs to succeed.
Grades 7–12 Academic Support
Subject-specific tutoring in math, science, English, and more for middle and high school students preparing for exams, college, and beyond.

We are always looking for passionate educators and support staff to join our growing team.
Tutor – Elementary (Grades K-5)
Provide one-on-one and small group tutoring in reading and math for elementary students before, during, and after school. Strong communication skills and a passion for early literacy required. ( Must pass background check with transportation).
Tutor – Middle & High School (Grades 6–12)
Deliver subject-specific academic support in math, science, and English for secondary students before, during, and after school. Subject matter expertise and tutoring experience preferred. ( Must pass background check with transportation).
Recruitment
Hiring recruiters for the PASS TEA Grant (Parent Access to Supplemental Supports) program for targeted 4th grade students. Recruitment compensation plan available (up to $250/hour).
